You will be amazed at the variety within our work environment, the fascinating range of roles and the growing scope of training available with Peter Vardy Ltd.
It’s a pretty common practice in a sales environment to throw people in at the deep end and see what happens. At Peter Vardy, we believe in supporting and developing our colleagues to be the best that they can be, so that kind of approach doesn’t really work for us. In fact, we think lots of people have decided (or been told) that they aren’t right for sales, when really the company they went to work for just didn’t give them the support and training they needed to become a great success.
That’s where our Rookie Training Academy comes in. This year we’re inviting people who are new to the automotive industry, or new to the sales environment to come along and show us their drive and passion to succeed and their natural rapport with people from all walks of life. We’ll use our knowledge and expertise to identify the people we believe are most likely to succeed and if you fall within that category, we’ll invite you to be part of our Rookie Training Academy.
For the next 8 weeks, you’ll join our other ‘Sales Rookies’ for a full programme where we’ll focus on giving you everything you need to become a highly successful sales advisor in our award winning organisation.
The programme will be a mixture of classroom training at our head office and ‘hands on’ activities at your designated dealership (as well as a few more unusual days that we’ll keep a surprise for now). We’ll work closely with you to build your confidence and knowledge and make sure you know exactly what it takes to create delighted customers who always come back to us.
On top of all this, you’ll have a dedicated trainer and mentor throughout the entire programme who will continue to support you once you’re out in the job for real.
So, here’s the thing. We know what it takes to deliver a fantastic customer experience. We might be young, but we’ve got some serious experience in the industry and we’ve spent years researching the best practices from all over the world. We need great people with great attitudes to come and join us on the next phase in our journey. It’s going to be hard work, great fun and we’re going to keep getting better and better. Tell us about why you are the right person and what this would mean to you and maybe even impress us with some knowledge that you have on us as a company. Remember you only have one chance to make a first impression! Please keep this to an A4 page if possible.
