Peter Vardy BMW Welcomes New Managing Partner
Peter Vardy welcomes a new man to steer Edinburgh BMW/MINI through exciting times.
Steve Brown returns to Scotland to become managing partner at Seafield Road with years of experience working with premium brands.
After living in Dublin for a year, Kirkcaldy-born Steve has returned to his roots to help strengthen the market position of Peter Vardy BMW/MINI in Edinburgh, which last year saw record sales and is bucking the downturn in the motor industry.
Steve has spent the past 15 years in the business, but his love of BMW has seen him involved with the brand since 1998.
“This really is coming home,” says Steve. “For me, working with Peter Vardy Ltd is a fantastic opportunity. It’s the perfect fit; the company, the brand and the location.”
In his time with BMW, Steve saw the brand grow from 40,000 units a year to 130,000.
“It’s an exciting brand with some great product and this year in particular sees some really innovative solutions coming through,” he says.
“These are challenging times for the motor industry but our Edinburgh dealership has had a fantastic start to the year.
“I’m very optimistic for the future and I can’t wait to meet more customers, who are welcome any time to call in for a coffee and a chat.”
