Vardy vies to catch eyes with special edition Corsa VSS
Peter Vardy Ltd has released an ultra-limited edition version of the Vauxhall Corsa aimed at drivers who want cutting-edge sports styling combined with low running costs.
Just 30 of the special edition Corsa ‘VSS’ (Vardy Signature Series) models have been created for sale to customers at Peter Vardy showrooms across Scotland.
Each of the Corsa VSS models is finished in exclusive matt black or matt grey paint and features the popular VXR styling pack, 16-inch black twin-spoke alloy wheels with ultra-low profile tyres, gloss black grille, mirrors and door handles, plus matching yellow brake calipers and decals.
Powered by 1.2 petrol engine the Corsa VSS offers a top speed of over 100mph, but returns 53mpg and only 124 g/km of CO2 emissions.
It is also loaded with equipment and comes with cruise control, trip computer, shift-up indication light, dark-tinted windows, speed-sensitive power-assisted steering and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
The Corsa VSS is priced at £12,499 including swappage and is available from all Peter Vardy Vauxhall dealerships in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy, Motherwell and Perth.
The VSS by Peter Vardy is the latest variant of Vauxhall’s hugely popular Corsa supermini, which has been the best-selling car in Scotland overall for the last four years in a row.
Vauxhall, the number one-selling car brand in Scotland, is expected to build on its sales success having recently agreed a three-and-a-half year partnership with the Scottish FA until 2014 to become the main sponsor of the national football team.
